West Street GREAT FUTURES Youth Programs

Registration is currently open for our West Street GREAT Futures Program! Registrations however will be held until we can hire additional staff due to overwhelming demand!

  • Monday-Friday after school until 6:30PM
  • $150 membership fee (Active August 29th through June 18th) (Grades 1-8)
  • $50 membership fee (Active August 29th through June 18th) (Grades 9-12)
  • Core Focus Program Areas: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Character and Leadership Development, Arts & Technology

Passport to Manhood

Passport to Manhood is designed for Club members who identify as male on a various aspect of manhood through highly interactive activities. Passport represents a targeted effort to engage young men in discussions and activities that reinforce positive behavior.

  • Smart Girls

    SMART Girls supports girls in developing and adopting a healthy attitude and lifestyle, as well as acquiring and maintaining a positive self-concept, positive peer relationships and sound decision-making skills.

    Youth Arts

    BBGC’s Youth Arts (digital, visual, applied and performing arts) programs encourage imagination and self-expression through exploratory, hands-on experiences.

    Power Hour: Homework Help

    Power Hour helps Club members achieve academic success by providing homework help, tutoring, and high-yield learning activities and encouraging members to become self-directed learners.

    Journeys: Paths to Adulthood

    Journeys: Paths to Adulthood is a social-emotional program that supports young people in reflecting on their own individual sense of self in relation to different parts of their identity.

    Ages 9-14

    STEM

    The Boys & Girls Club of Bristol’s STEM program empower youth to create new solutions to real-world challenges. Join us for fun activities that include Lego challenges, coding, robotics, and electric circuits.

    Ages 6-12

    ALL STARS

    BGCA’s ALL STARS program aims to get more young people involved in different sports, while fostering a sense of belonging, and building life skills and confidence. Sport offerings include basketball, floor hockey, baseball, lacrosse, volleyball and soccer.

    Triple Play

    Triple Play is a progressive program that focuses on building movement skills and positive attitudes about physical activity. This program consists of diverse games, cooperative activities and sports to develop a young person’s ability, confidence and motivation.

    Nathan Mariani Outdoors Club

    The Nathan Mariani Outdoors Club program strives to meet the needs of members through involvement in outdoor adventures and nature exploration activities. By experiencing nature and developing skills in outdoor recreation, club members will gain a life-long appreciation and understanding for the importance of nature. This program is in memory of outdoors enthusiast, Nathan Mariani, who passed away in 2019. The Outdoors Club strives to keep his love and passion for the outdoors alive.

    Torch Club

    Torch Clubs are chartered, small-group leadership and service clubs. Torch Club members work together to implement activities in the following four areas: service to Club and community, education, health & fitness, and social recreation.

    Youth for Unity

    Youth for Unity features dynamic experiences that will help youth better understand diversity and combat prejudice, bigotry and discrimination. Activities support youth to appreciate themselves as unique and special individuals; understand society’s diversity; recognize bias and unfairness; and take personal leadership in confronting bias.

    Career Launch

    Career Launch is BBGC’s job-readiness and career preparation program for Club members. It provides fun and interactive activities for youth to explore a broad range of career areas, matches their interests to career clusters, and identifies the skills and education needs for different career paths.

    Money Matters

    Money Matters promotes behavior-changing financial education to help Club members get on the path toward budgeting, saving and investing, planning for post-secondary education and financial freedom.
