Kinder (5 years) or in
A basic introduction to gymnastics which will help children build confidence, strength, coordination, and social skills.
Children will practice on age appropriate equipment, and begin to use adult
Skippers (6 years & up)
An introduction to gymnastics: Children will learn the correct and safe way
to do gymnastics, and learn to develop body control awareness to enable them to
progress on to each level of gymnastics. This class is designed for those who
have little to no experience.
ymnasts must have a backbend, round-off, working on one arm cartwheel, pull over on bars w/little spot, working on round-off off beam, squat on table vault.
Tuesday 6:15-7:15, Thursday 4:00-5:00, Saturday 12:00-1:00
Must have backbend kick over or back walk over, round off, working on back extension roll, pull over on bars
without spot, handstand or forward roll on beam, working on
handstand on table vault.
Must have all skills listed in
previous levels, plus working on front/back handspring w/spot, back hip circle, & jump to high on bars, working on cartwheel on beam,
working on handspring on trainer.
*Try out or evaluation is necessary
