Humanitarian Service Award
The Bristol Boys & Girls Club Humanitarian Service Award recognizes individuals for their dedication, sacrifice and accomplishments in humanitarian service to the community.
The definition of humanitarian service is purposely broad and includes those helping youth, senior citizens, or the disadvantaged; people working to improve the quality
of education or health care; those striving to protect the environment, building jobs in the community, or promoting safety. The recipients of this award have helped to
make our community a better place.
PLUS Award
The Bristol PLUS Award is presented to a woman, family, or civic organization that unselfishly gives their time, energy and heartfelt devotion to people within the greater Bristol area. Members of the community are invited to nominate those
who they believe are worthy of recognition due to their exceptional leadership skills, their positive influence, their willingness to take on challenging endeavors
and their relentless commitment to bettering the lives of others. Those eligible to receive the award must live and/or work in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville or Plymouth and demonstrate positive leadership and unselfish service.
Special Service Award
The Special Service Award is given each year to an organization which provides significant resources intended to enhance the lives of others in the Greater Bristol Community.
Oliver Gaudreau Award
Oliver Gaudreau was a dedicated Boys & Girls Club volunteer until his death at age 90. He was a 70 year member of the Older Members Association and spent a significant amount of his adult life working for the benefit of the Club and its members. Award recipients embody the characteristics Ollie represented over his lifetime.

"We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It's easy to say, 'It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.' Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes." -Fred Rogers
