Early Childhood Education Program

 
The Bristol Boys & Girls Club and Family Center Early Childhood Education Preschool Programs are State Licensed and have a NAEYC accreddited Center. NAEYC stands for the National Association of for the Education of Young Children, which provides a high-quality early childhood program promoting physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children.
What We Offer:

 

  • Early Childhood Education for Infants, Toddlers and Preschool children
  • Care is Full Time only; Monday through Friday, available from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Cold breakfast, plus morning and afternoon snacks provided
  • Financial Assistance is available for Preschool children who qualify for the School Readiness Grant
  • We accept Care 4 Kids, a State of Connecticut subsidy for working parents
  • Staff are available to assist parents with forms and determine eligibility for Care4Kids and School Readiness financial assistance programs
  • Preschool Programs available at our 1 Pleasant St. or 105 Laurel St. Location
  • Infant and Toddler Programs available at 1 Pleasant St. or 47 Upson St. location
  • We are State Licensed and have a NAEYC Accredited Center We have qualified and experienced Early Childhood teachers

    In Our Early Childhood Education Programs, your child will learn how to:
     
    • Work alone and with others
      • Share and take turns
      • Explore and expand abilities and interests
      • Express thoughts and ideas
      • Develop feelings of security

     

     

    Children learn these skills through activities which:

    • build self-confidence
    • develop vocabulary
    • Encourage recognition of differences in sound, size, shape and color
    • Increase interests in books, numbers and people
    • Improve coordination
    • Introduce new ideas
    • Enhance your child’s social skills
